TIme and time again we have said we can't really do anything with the voices no matter what it is until we get voice actors that know farsi and mandarin. Even adding in something like "take cover" we can't add until we get voice actors that know those two languages.

Actually, I'm going to work on a set of voice overs.

British
Arabic insurgent
Arabic for MEC
Mandarin (Chinese)
American

and then Canadian, just for kicks!

One set will be done in English with accents, the other set done in the actual language.

and I'll submit it.

The gentleman analogy is bad. A gentleman's job to keep everyone comfortable, no matter what the situation is, so truly, a gentleman can never not fit in.

I think the voices are fine.

I live in Toronto, which is such a multicultural city I have friends from all over the world.

I actually know one Chinese fellow with a really deep voice, so I can probably sign him onto the Chinese one.

I don't know any British people and as a Canadian, I don't know if British players would appreciate having yet another N. American faking a really bad British accent, although my liverpool accent rocks!

For American I was thinking a sort of strong Virginian accent.

Anyways, its just experimentation. Gonna start it after my exam on Thursday.

All I really need is a good British voice over. Ideally someone with a deeper, older voice. Patrick Stewart anyone? Haha

I've got some excellent recording hardware and a selection of great mics, so whoever wants to volunteer for the British one, make sure you have a good mic! PM me for details.

yeah we should do a range of british dialects for all the calls and suchlike, and i can do pretty much all of them(sounds modest doesnt it) but i love inpersinating, its funny.
(off topic a sec) i was just thinking outloud and did go go go in a devon accent, if you can do devon, say it, its funny!

Don't worry about Americans. There are enough of them. :)

LOL LOL LOL :-P

But are real selection of Clarkson would include enough sexist, racist and opionated garbige to put a significant % of the non and half speaking English population off PR. Although it woudl still be horrificaly funny!

I'm back! sorry about the long absence, ive had boatloads of work to do  Anyway, after doing some research, i realised that the desert combat mod for bf1942 does a better job of arabic ove radio than EA, so maybe if someone could contact the DC guys and ask if you're allowed?
