Ok, here goes, been thinking on this a while (And before someone says it, Yes, I was inspired by the event in Somalia-1993) (Also, sorry if this is kinda confusing, i didnt write this down and I'm a bit scatterbrained) .I think an awesome gamemode wold be where a USMC blackhawk or a British Merlin (I'd prefer the Brit forces myself for this map, but I'll use the USMC as an example here) goes down in the center of a town and like 8 people can spawn on the chopper at startof the map (Chopper is already crashed at start, you spawn on th corpse. and no one else. These people cant respawn if they die.
Ideas for the spawning, dunno if there's a way to fix the kits and randomize who gets what but there could be :
2 Medics
1 Special Forces
1 Marksman
2 Riflemen
1 Pilot w/ Scavenged M16/AK or a SMG like the MP5 or MP7
1 Support w/ M249 SAW
Note: I want suggestion on these especially, this is just my idea of what it should be.
Now, on the the map, this would need to implement the AI a lot. Dunno what the lag would be but I'm envisioning about 100 AI insurgents on the map with REALLY dumb AI, like worse then the easy AI for SP.
Now, here's how the map will work with more then 8 ppl in the server, ALL of the people in the server are USMC. 8 men will be at the crash site and another 20 or so will spawn at a base outside the city. There will be a lot of Humvees and maybe a Saxon or something a bit heavier. Ok, now lets call the men from the crash site team Alpha, the USMC from the first convoy (which i will get to in a min) team Bravo, and the Convoy team Delta. The map start will be 2-3 min so the team has time to lay out their plan or we can just start it out and make them make decisions under fire which would be my choice because they would be trying to get the plan organized while 40 insurgents rushed the crash site. Anyway, the men would have a choice, try to get to a road and link up with the convoy (the long route for the men from the crash site), Wait at the crash site (Which gives them the defense advantage) and wait for the convoy to link up with Bravo and move to the crash site (Longest wait for the men at the crash site), Or the in between route, a shorter route through more hostile ground (closer to AI spawns) to Bravo team's location and help them defend the building until the convoy arrives.
Now I'll explain bravo team's situation. They were part of a convoy simply moving through the town that was ambushed and they took control of a building (Need suggestions here for the type of building that 10-15 men can hold against 40) the blackhawk was sent to deliver a special forces unit to help defend the building and evac the wounded until the convoy arrived, but while en route it was hit by a RPG and went down.
Ok, on to the AI again. The deal i envision is maybe 30-50 insurgents constantly attack the building where bravo is. Another 30 or so go after the crash survivors. Whatever is left go after the convoy, thus not making it a cake walk for them. I dunno if there would be a way to do this but if there it it would be awesome. I'm not very modding wise so tell me if this is hardcoded or something. Like i said before, make the AI bad so they dont run over the coalition team by sheer numbers, just make it where they charge blindly at the forces and shoot erratically. Also give them maybe 10 sec respawn times so they are constantly coming.
Ok, another part of this is the fixed ares for the USMC. The convoy must stay on the roads, maybe make everything but a few roads damage areas for the convoy (Again, i'm not sure if this is possible). The men in bravo cant leave the building area or they die (To prevent them just running off somewhere). The alpha team can go mostly anywhere, except out of the town.
After the convoy secures all it's passengers it can return to the base winning the game. If the crash survivors get wiped out they USMC takes a big hit on it's tickets which are already draining, making this a race against time to get the survivors before the whole city overruns the positions and kills the survivors. If the crash survivors get wiped out the convoy can still rescue the
convoy survivors and win if they are quick enough. If the convoy gets wiped out,both sets of survivors get wiped out, or the tickets run out before they can get back to base the USMC lose the round.
Ok, that's about it, help me out if i missed something (Cept the map design which i will edit in later, still thinking on it). Suggestions and Opinions are welcome, good or bad.....
Just give me your thoughts. If nothing else, I tried. lol

I dunno, it might not lag too bad if you made their quality bad or something, I've used to 64 bot mod and not lagged. But dunno how it would perform for a server.
