The TG guys are incredibly coordinated, tactical, and use excellent squadwork. They follow commander orders. That's probably what happened.

I must also say, that TG is a great server for high class teamwork and tactics.

From now on and for the forseable future i will only play on the TG server.

And if you do see me and if i happen to have my own squad, i really really recomend you pile on to this TeamSpeak server: 84.244.14.152.5923
Why, well you will have to just go on and find out (8:30 + pm GMT)!

I like the server, although I get intermittent messages saying that I was banned for TKing or something - but if I try a minute later it lets me on.

THis is becuase the max number of players on the Tactical Gamer server is 62.

You will get a silly message IF you try to join when it is FULL.

The only thing is that it's always full, and when I wait for it to dip to 61 to join, I get booted for a supporting member before a single long round is completed.

We don't use TS for in-game communication, rather for help with the server and admin requests. And for razzing the other team in between rounds.

Sometimes one team having a commander and the other not can drastically tip the balance in their favor.

Hopefully this thread can help explain some of the kick/ban messages you receive. Until we figure out another method, we're stuck with the EA stock kick message with the way we wrote the script.

Shoot me a PM on the TG site. Once you make it onto the server, you shouldn't get the reserved slot kick until you have been on the longest. There may be a bug we have to address or it could be from another reason.

Damn, looks like it has packed out after the excessive and rediculous use by around 4 PR players in the last 24 hours!

THis is a reall bummer and i dont know any other TS servers i can use legally on the TG server.

Can some one please give me the address of a free public server i can use, as quickly as possible , till the PRM (above adress) TS server is back up and running????????

Though we don't use TS for in-game communication, we do have a server that our community utilizes for contacting admins or for between-round chatter. You can find the info on our site http://www.tacticalgamer.com

LOL i am a member i do have the TS TG server details saved on my TS !!!!! WAY

Thanks for suggesting though. THe problem is, I am guessing, it would be totaly inappropriate and out of the question for me to hand the TS server details and password out to non TG members in my squad (generaly hardcore Teamplayers though). However if you say other wise, i can successfull triple the average no. of the TG PR TS server channel and have it crammed with battlefield information flowing back and forth for hours on end, not stop (hence, underused at manys time, TC solve underuse!heheee)! :-P

BUt serisouly, the TG server is really for TG members only right???????

EDIT: THere PRM TS server is back up and running, no need for TG TS server for normal public play.

You actually just need to register an account on the TG forums to get access to the TS server password. No money changes hands or anything like that, you just register a forum account and you're good to go.

Generally though for BF2 and its mods, we only use Teamspeak for reporting rules violators and between games. Since BF2 has a VOIP command structure built in, excessive chatter on TS can easily distract SLs and even squad members, so idle chatter in the channel discouraged while a game is in progress. :)

If your not a supporting member give it a couple of days until you get tired of being kicked :-/

As Beatnik pointed out, the TG teamspeak server is available for our forum users. Come on over, register an account and say hello. You'll find all of the teamspeak information there.

I signed up on the forums and popped into teamspeak and said hi and was told to keep the chatter down :/ One of the TG guys said over TS "What map do you guys want to play" so I said "Al basrah, or maybe even helmand" and was again told to keep the chatter down :-/

The server might have been in the middle of a round and we do generally try to keep the chatter to a minimum during that time. However, feel free to contact me on the TG forums and we can discuss it further. I apologize if anything came off harsh directed at you.

You can ignore this response. I messed up the dates and thought you were referring to last night!
