Why not exchange arty for a AC-130 gunship?
Well I got to thinking about cool things that you devs MIGHT (the key word) be able to do. And I thought to myself man it would be cool if you could make an C130 gunship have it unload on like the enemy. I was thinking that maybe you could use the gatling gun of the A10 but make it bigger then that one. You dont need to make the C130 just the firing effects. What do you think?

More guns and bullets make bad guys go away faster,
which in turn makes everyone in the area safer.

Not with M1s. Those tanks were M551 Sheridans, which were specially developed to drop from the C130 in support of US airborne units. They are no longer in use as they were finally retired from the 82nd airborne in 1996 (the phase out from the rest of the US army began in 197huleboeren wrote:They still do Tank drop offs?![]()
I dont know of any current US army armoured viechle that could be dropped in the same manner without at least partial disassembly.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
Many thanks to [R-DEV]Adriaan for the sig!

have any of you played Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour.. they have C-130's.. same concept of arty except that its a dam big gun and machine gun [i saw it on i think Mail Call that you can either have to really dam big guns or 1 big gun and one dam big machine gun... or 2 machine guns and no big cannons or anything... but either way, its deadly....
or what about a MOAB [for thoes of you that dont know a MOAB is the Nickname to what is called "The Mother of All Bombs"
or mabye just use what we had in Vietnam... a "daisy cutter"
any of thoes and lets just say your going to have a BAAAD DAY!!!

Those poor frickin' Muj never had a chance, dude. I like the way they remained in tight, easy-to-bomb groups even after they knew they were under fire.

Get off my frickin' nutz!

A simulation for a transport plane would be the huge one you see on the airstrip at Albasrah airport. Basicly, put one of those, static, in the air as high as you possibly can on a map, sealing off the front(obviously lol) and using the sandstorm animation that is used on Al faluja to rush around the plane. Place around a few static viechles like on the train on Operation ghost train and allow viechle drops
.
Though im sure the DEV team could throw down a better one, im sure.
Perhaps for one of the upcomming mumbo-Jumbo 4 times the size albasrah maps?
For a C130 gunship, all you need to do is just make the flippin plane sound that you hear when a supply crate is dropped, combined with some kind of arty-ish thing lol. Dunno how it would be coded or anything though.
