Player name: JuniperM40

Kit/vehicle: crewman/m1a2/lav/''majik truck''

Map and side: al basra/usmc

Act of heroism/good conduct: best squad leader and teamplayer i have met on al basra, knows the in's and out's of the map. very tactical in his approach to attack and defence.

squad name: '4th armoured'
server :d evfile 24/7 basra
date:4th march 07

Kit/vehicle: crewman/m1a2/lav/''majik truck''

Map and side: al basra/usmc

Act of heroism/good conduct: amazing squad armour work
lead flawlessly by jm40, untill we had well over half of the insurgents waiting for us by the facility, by which point we had become the prized target for everyone to take a pot shot rpg at.

it was the first time for me to see a armoured column working together as a team
The two tanks, the lav and the majik truck in a line sweeping through the city shooting at anything that moved, pure bliss.
i especially liked it when it got to the point in the server at around 300 tickets each, when we had copycat squads following us as jm40 said its the best form of flattery

every one that was in this squad please pm or post your names as you guys were amazing

*edit* yeah the above pic was when i did have fun lol the cobras on this mod are amazing.

Nickbond, I have the screenshot I took of all of you @ the Airport - on top of "the Tank That Wouldn't Die" =)

Image

4th Armoured Members that night:

TANK 1 - Driver: JuniperM40
TANK 1 - Main Gunner: BubbaHoTep130 (his 2nd day playing PR!)
TANK 1 - Cupola Gunner: SAS-Stemack

TANK 2 - Driver: captionjon
TANK 2 - Main Gunner: [EtE] Nickbond592
TANK 2 - Cupola Gunner: [RDEV] duckhunt

Support/APC (Squad 2):

Magic Truck Driver: [PR]ARRC| Hobbs
Other Members: [PR]RFFD| killahomies
[KSK] Blacksnake
JackHartsock

I havent laughed that hard for weeks. It was indeed amazing that we had 15+ insurgents doing nothing but waiting for us with RPGs and IEDs. Uour team actually took facility so many times with few people, since the entire INSURG team was doing nothing but waiting for us in their anti-armor kits. =)

Good times, my man, good times.

- JM40.

(What was that? 9 RPG hits? and TANK 2 STILL SURVIVED and made it back to the Airport for Repair??? Give those boys a BIG round of appaluse!)

Player: Hobbs
Side: USMC/Insurgens most frequently
Map:Albasrah most frequently
Kit/viechle: Pilot/Crewman| Cobra gunner/ MBT operator

Action: Great Teamworker. Have played a tourney with him as my gunner, making infamous strikes on the hostile forces such as the Eliminating 50% of the enemies no respawnable MBTs within the 1st 40seconds of the game.

he also has a tallent for atrmour. Great comms, status reports and is always up for the fight. Also, hes a good guy and has a odd ability of making you agree 100% with him when he says something lol.

Last night on the PTG-server (I believe). Had some nice rounds with good squad members. Don't remember all of your names, but here are some:

Sgt. Reekoon and MadTommy; good comms and good teamwork. Nice playing with ya!
Fuzzhead; was commander for a while, brought some order into the game, the other squads were just messing up, if you ask me.

Even though some SL's didn't even know how to set up a rally point and after explaining it, still didn't get it, we had a good fight.

Tonight on PTG I played with a couple of nice guys, Swetrekki and Arnold-something being refered to as "Peter". Two great squadplayers and we did a hell of a job, ended up as best squad several times in a row! Always nice to play with fellow Swedes aswell! To the rest of you who were in the squad, great job! Don't remember all of your name but everybody did a great job!

"The men inside (the APC) might have been UN but they were playing by a completely different set of rules. They were Swedes; in terms of individual intelligence, integrity and single-mindedness I was to find them among the most impressive soldiers I had ever encountered. In Vares their moment had come."

*Spacecadett* - Top SL, clear, calm, patient, knows what he wants and how to get it. I had an excellent couple of rounds in his squad tonight. Won Operation Ghost Train round 2 as British 250-0, then won Operation Pheonix round 1 as US 350-0, then the whole squad switched teams as they were about 8 players down for round 2, and guess what? We ended up with another unquestionable victory: 260-0.

He is capable of taking complete control of the squad but at the same time understands when people fall out of line for any particullar reason. At points, he organised the squad into 2 fireteams, giving it that much more flexibility. He assigned people their roles before the game started. I got told to be rifleman and I have to admit, it was the first time I genuinly enjoyed playing as the kit. The squad setup was perfectly balanced for the required operations: SL kit, 2x Medics, Rifleman, Spec Ops and Light AT/Support gunner. I learned a lot from him tonight, and I'm not exactly new to the mod... He knows the maps inside out and back to front and is 100% confident in what he's doing and ordering.

Ofcourse it wouldn't have been the same if the entire squad didn't co-operate so well and listen to his instructions. All the members of *Spacecadett's* squad were on form tonight, I can't remember all names but ones that spring to mind are (GER)imo and AppleJuice4u2.

Will look for your name in future *Spacecadett* and I'm sorry for the occasional stray bullet from me that struck you in firefights. It was pretty intense at some points.

Had some great rounds last night on the PTG server too. Good squadmembers, knew exactly what to do.

Some names I remember; Hx Rage, Hx Flyg... (something like that :o ), PIMP{UK}, BigMoth, Schnallnix, Kaptain_Krunkster (?)

Was fun playing with you guys!

'[R-MOD wrote:Dylan']Desertfox, and Fishwork.

Both of these fine, mature players avoided, and attempted to hault the bashing of katiewolf today on a full 64 man server of sexists. Its not a physical act of heroism, but a good act of heroism to stand up for an (almost) innocent player.
In my experience, Katiewolf does as much making a target of herself as anyone else...

But I do agree with your recommendations. I've found them to be both highly skilled, patient, and fun to play with. Very decent folks.

Player name: Hansen.dk

Kit/viechle: Medic

Map and side: All Maps/Both sides

Act of heroism/good conduct: Is allways doing his part, taking names and numbers like a Rifleman, but Medic at the same time.
Before you can request a medic or get the fielddressing..he is on you like a cheap suit AFTER he took the immediate threat out.
He dont say much, and doesn´t talk endlessly about this knifekill and that AT shot, which is aces in my book, then we can actually hear the Squadleader.
..excellent teamplayer.
