First Layer: I created layer that was a gradient of the Coyote Brown -> Dark Earth color.
Successive Layers; Filter:Render:Clouds, Filter:Artistic:Sponge (Large brush size, max definition, med-high smoothness). Image:Adjust:Contrast (Max Contrast, adjust brightness to shrink create larger or smaller sections) Filter

ixelate:Mosaic (Cell size 10). Select:Color Range (Use the eyedropper to select black) Select:Inverse. Cut. Select:Reselect. Select:Inverse. Now, depending on which layer I'm working with, I either use a gradient (For the peasoup green > Deciduous green section) or Edit:Fill with a solid color.
