u r more than welcome to servers in Japan.
as ppl tend to work fairly late here, they r usually totally abandoned during early hours, but later in the evening, they r packed.

Thanks. Though at what time GMT do you mean by "later in the evening"? We should share 1hr difference in timezone, but Japan servers are still empty after midnight.

hey dude im from malaysia too,u can play in tactical server coz they dont kick high pingers,and there are new aus server GameArena n one more server from aus too dun remember da server name........

Nice.. so how do I get onto "tactical server" and GameArena, i.e. what's the IP, etc.? Is the other one '3FL WA - BF2 PR 0.5' or '3FL NSW - BF2 PR 0.5'?

Ah, I'm guessing those 3FL servers I mentioned are in Australia or New Zealand.. I get a nice ping of 100 to 150 there. But they're also always empty at GMT 11:00 to 17:00.

actually sometimes a person with a high ping can make the whole server lag, but it is quite difficult to hit something with a ping of over 150.

Actually you shouldn't have a problem hitting something if your ping is under 300...

I play with 190 - 200 ping... i get killed a lot, and kill alot too, and i don't get any lag, so i think the high ping kick is BS, i mean, that's what the lag compensation is for, if you can't kill a high pinger, then he must be a bunny hopper/dolphin diver who keeps messing with his hitboxes, but even low pingers can do that.

Do that thing they tell you to compensate in Tweakguides.
It will probably help, since defualt is 100ms,change it to 200 and see what happens.
