Why would you want trenches at the bottom? You don't give yourself the advantage of height. You're on defense, you know.

Dont mind the black shadows, they will be fixed. Thats also not the size of the city I extended it by one building (The one I made) to the west.

Hoping to have the trenches done tonight.

Dirty up the fortress a little bit (inside it).
They know they're under attack and it should seen like they're switching stuff from place to place, reassembling weaponry or whatever, so try adding some more crates or stuff like that :D

are you planning to ad support trenches running from the castle to the outer trenches. Would be a bit silly to have trenches outside your walls and then have to sprint over ground to get to them.

Make a trench. Then put a plate or building other static on top. Check for head room.

I dont think a trench is going to be possible because its on a hill. Thanks to fuzzhead's great art skills be found in another thread I have a idea!

If anybody wants to make statics...it would be nice to have (like somebody suggested before) a tunnel that would lead inside the fortress...an underground one.

Doesnt the BF2 terrain fill statics though? Or do you mean like the OGT tunnel?

You can make a static that will have a terrain cover above it, so it'll mix with the real terrain hehe.
This way you'll leave a whole near the fake one, and the static will work fine.
And yeah, it's kinda like the OGT one.

Yeah thats what I thought :p Anyways, if you guys are wondering on progress I finished up the trenches and added the barbed wire around it. Im going to add a couple small bunkers around the perimeter and then have a main bunker that is going to have a flag.

Been busy playing lately :p I finished up the trenches but they dont really look that good so im thinking of taking them out and adding like 8 bunkers all around and then support lines from the bunker to the buildings. I hope to finish it in a week.
