Tell me about these "hidden kits" -- what do they grant? (or are they the ones the insurgents get that give them sniper rifles and stuff?)

On some maps (such as Al Basra and Greasy) there are M95 pickup kits. These are placed around the maps in "natural sniper positions" and can be found if one looks hard enough.

And dont ask where they are. People have to find them for themselves.

Dunno what the map's called. The MEC v US one with airfields, CP Name: West Outpost. On top of a mountain there's a hut, quad and motorbike, I found an m95 protruding from the ground there.

zomg since nobodys said it yet theres one on that map with that hill and its kind of dark and the name is like oily hair or somthing....what...its only been said like 4 times before.
