MINES

Post by 77SiCaRiO77 »

dont know how much dificult its make colitions but , is possible to remake the collitios of the mine ?

Image

the red square is the current colition model , can you replace that with the blue collition model? so if you drop it correctly , the mine would be "buried" in the field

EDIT: almos forget , mines like the M15 DONT kill heavy tanks like the m1a2 or the type 99 , they only disable the tracks .

very much in agreement - right now they are just annoying road blocks rather than deadly traps. Shame DICE introduced that patch that makes all mines indestructable - have the Devs tried to undo that?

I don't know, but one thing I find funny is that they carry the mine on their back.

Maybe if we shoot it it can explode??!! Just like a Flamthrower tank on the back in WWII.

one weighs like what? 30lbs? Thats 15kg and one man can definetely carry that. One man can also carry 30kg plus weapons etc but yes it will be heavy and his movement will be impaired.

Anthony Lloyd, himself a former soldier in the British army and a Northern Ireland and Gulf War veteran:
"The men inside (the APC) might have been UN but they were playing by a completely different set of rules. They were Swedes; in terms of individual intelligence, integrity and single-mindedness I was to find them among the most impressive soldiers I had ever encountered. In Vares their moment had come."

Yeah I noticed that between last may when I stoppled playing BF2, and last February when I started again, the mines where no longer destructable.

A hidden mine would be great, especially if it did more realistic damage.

Also, what's the plan for anti-personnel mines, other than the claymore?

Concealable mines would vastly change the role of an engineer in defense and I personally would love to have an Engineer squad that lays a minefield around a flag.
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

Perhaps make it so that the earth over the mine is a slightly different colour. That way, if you are paying attention and looking for them, you won't run through a field of them. But if you are just going a long and not paying too much attention, then you will die.

even if you are paying attention you will not see the mine , but since mines of that weigh dont kill MY tank , i dont really worrie :P . BUT those mines are enough to destroy an APC or a hummve .
