Map Suggestions

Greetings PR community.

I was wondering if Devs are considering some maps where it will be mostly infantry battles. I know BF2 is about vehicles, but i think on pretty much every map, the winning team of the map, will be who made use of their vehicles.

Some examples, Strike at Karkand (32 player size)

USMC - if they utilize the LAV and M1A1 together, USMC will win the map.
MEC - If they utilize their tank well, as in repair most battle, choose good position, and have a squad protect it from C4s, they have a stronger chance of winning.

Another Example, Mashtuur City (32 player size)

USMC - Utilize the Blackhawk, Grab key flags (2 flags that provides the tanks) and you got a winning team.
MEC - Destroy Blackhawk, capture blackhawk CP when it respawns, utilize blackhawk. Grab the 2 flags.

Okay yes i focus maps that requires infantry, but there are also other maps.

On the bigger map, it is the same thing. Those who can get control of most heavy vehicles, will win that map. Even those that can rule the sky.

Sharqi Peninsula - is a map on who can rule the sky. If you rule the sky, you can pretty much win that map. Sure there are 3 AA sites on the map, but we all know they are easy to avoid.

So i was wondering if the Devs, will consider having some maps, where its just infantry and for vehicles, it would be Humvee's and vodnik's, In other words, light transport.

and if need air lift with the trasnport heli, but w/o the guns on them.

as far as i know the devs have more or less confirmed there will be some infantry only maps in pr.

i would really LOVE!!!! to see some city urban style maps were one side is dug inside all kinds of buildings with sandbags machines guns etc etc in windows doorways stairways etc.. the city army has limited resources and the attackin army has all kinds of jazz!!! and make it so the flag points are inside or on top of building roofs!!! no caps on the roads you have to take the fight inside.

i can just see it in my mind. major ownage by snipers who put claymores on each set of stairs with one support guy to give them new ammo each time. nope mate, not gonna work. although i would very much like to see urban maps make it so that the spawn points are easily accessible.

i can just see it in my mind. major ownage by snipers who put claymores on each set of stairs with one support guy to give them new ammo each time. nope mate, not gonna work. although i would very much like to see urban maps make it so that the spawn points are easily accessible.[/quote]


well i know but it would still be nice for lots of soldier power maps less on the vehicles one

i think that their should be some jungle maps. Not just green tunnels with 2d plants but serious jungles with lots of cover. just picture marines in jungle camo stalking through the jungle. they spread out in a long line patroling the area. all of a sudden a machine gun opens up on them. marines dive bhind cover. it would be freakin awesome. stealth movement and ambushes would be vital.
since this space is empty..........
