I'm probably going to edit this some in the future but ATM I would like to point out the Super Cobra's chaingun. Is it on the right ROF, which is 650 Rounds Per Minute? And also, what's with the sound? http://my.break.com/media/view.aspx?ContentID=239086

Listen to the cannon, it sounds completely different. I'm not completely sure if this is cobra footage but the gun sounds right. I've heard them in real life, they sound nothing like they do in BF2.

That's an apache video as far as I know. Pretty sure they're farmers as well from what I've seen/read.

This is video from an Apache. The M230 30mm chaingun on the Apache does have a rate of fire of around 650 rpm. However, the 20mm M197 rotary cannon (basically a chopped down Vulcan) on the SuperCobra has a rate of fire between 2000-3000 rpm.

Was some of the audio from that used on the .5 promo video? I swear the Super Cobra crew sounds exactly the same... the scene the promo video had was almost exactly the same, too.

Ok maybe I was wrong about the ROF. I'm a combat engineer, not a pilot. But seriously, that cannon sound is the same, just sped up for the cobra.

just take the sound from that video, put it in the bf2 folder and voila. no punkbuster problem neither.
