The wonderful f16.

Post by Nimble »

Now, maybe this is just me being picky... but would it be possible to make it so the f16 could actually back up on the ground? It kind of sucks for rearming when you land and then can't really take off again ( unless you want to take an hour backing it up on the runway ever so slowly ). If there's a reason it can't back up, feel free to delete this post.

not really fits, the topic - but yeah, it´s really a pain in the *** to rearm the planes - especially on oman there is hardly room to turn around at all...and there are those "OH SHI" moments when you´re landing and someone coming from the other direction has the same idea ;)

Meh, it's really easy to rearm them. Just land. Go to the rearm position and wait a few seconds. Then back up a bit to get enough room for the take off (which is ridiculously low) and take off.

You don't need to turn around at all, just put it in reverse mode.

Oh and by the way, it's an F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, not an F16 ;)

First off, the backup 'speed' of the F-16 is about .1 mp/h. Second, for some reason the f-16 has a rather long take off period. It pulls up very slowly at first. (Pretty much needs 3/4 of the runway)

That's so great. I see that there is big improvment at USI models since I saw I last.
