Great server and good admins as always but the map rotation isn't exactly spectacular... (could you please post the current list ... just out of curiosity... maybe we can suggest some improvements)

Granted, there is alot more map variety than any other Thors server that has preceeded it, which is great but why stop there? This server is still missing some great 0.5 maps! :D

Oh and for the love of god STOP playing Helmand Province so damn much! It's really wearing out the map and giving alot of people who rather see the more tactical maps ALOT of grief. IMO that's a 'once in a while' type map to speed up the gameplay after some of the more long/large/drawn out maps, not the type of map you wanna see come up 4+ times per list cycle... it has degenerated into a SPRINTING, SPAMMING, MOB of players (64 is just too many on a map like this) just running around the map as fast as they can in between spawn points and flags whilst spamming whatever they got to try and get some frags... pfff... hardly how Helmand was meant to be played... :-|

We were bombing the s*** out of the Insurgents because they nade-spammed us as brits in the round before. ;)
5 GLs firing at the same time at the same place = massive damage

yeaaha... this 'mobile artillery' is even possible with 32 players on that map.

The real problem is that some players just slowly get a clue how to act in a squad - some never will ;)
This mod is so popular and tb is one of the most played 64slot servers in europe.
So on tb's server you can see some 64slot issues compared with rookies really quickly.
There are so many players who just downloaded this mod since 05 was released.
Give them time to get into this mod.... otherwise the pr community wont grow so fast.

And here's the actual mapcycle:

Helmand Province 64
Albasrah 32
Ejod 64
Operation Phoenix 64
Muttrah City 64
Qwai1 32
Sunset City 64
Mao Valley 64
Airport 64
Operation Greasy Mullet 64

Greasy Mullet... sigh, that map makes me leave immediately when I don't have a bunch of buddies by my side.

@wooly:
inishail forest ...i suppose u had that one in mind. I like it too :)
But many players leave tb's server while loading that map!?!
Perhaps its an hardware/lag issue for many players configs ?!
Not everyone has 2gb ram and a graphis card which has at least 256mb - then u would have no issues at all ;)

@bosco:
Greasy has its pros to... THIS map is for 64slots. its the best made and the biggest map for full-scale warfare

Another bitter sour little smacktard that needs a good banning. He seemed to be playing under the oddly short pseudo that seemed to read: -GI-

Thors Brigade PR Server - Friday night 20:00~ish CET - EJOD Desert:

I was trying to run an efficient and organized squad and gave this -GI- guy an ample 10min+ chance to get in line with what the whole rest of the squad was asking out of him over the VOIP. He just seemed to ignore it and not take any of what we were asking of him seriously, so I decided to give him the good ol' boot and give someone else a chance. At the time, the 6 of us were all together up on the west hills of EJOD where we had setup an OP that we were using to observe and engage enemy armor below.

After the squad kick, -GI- clearly proceeded to have a hissy fit and took action. He destroyed our rallypoint, then killed the whole squad on the spot with his rifle from behind only soon after to got shot down himself by a last remaining friendly medic. Thankfully I was revived by that medic and so decided to just write the incident off as yet another smacktard getting his 'revenge'. I setup a new rally point, had the squadies spawn back in and get back to their positions at the OP and we got back to work.

A minute or so goes by and low and behold -GI- is back south of the west hills to harass our squad some more. This time he's brought an APC up from the main base, and decides to destroy our fresh Rally Point with HEAT shells and then fire upon the squad some more in the same way.

Sorry, but these type of 'revenge' actions taken by bitter players who don't always get what they want need to be discouraged as they really ruin the flow and feeling PR is trying to create.

I'd appreciate it if an admin could act on smacktards like this. We don't want Thors to sink and become an arcady stat whoreish type server where people come to only get frags and medals. :|
