Been experimenting with the bf2editor in the hopes of making a map, though I'm beginning to think I'm too much of a noob and don't have the time to really learn it.
So thought I'd post my idea and see what people think before I continue my futile work
The area is around Guilin in China, it's south west China, north west of Hong Kong and North East of Vietnam.
There is a really good photo in one of my books, it's a small valley, with a few steep hills (unclimbable), around the edges is a thick forest, then about 50 to 60 metres of rice fields and right in the middle is a small, tightly packed walled village, with a single raised road leading away to the mouth of the valley.
I'm going to try to get a nice balance between the forest and fields and focus on the village as a key objective point. Just need to find time
Mmmm.... I love GuiLin hot sauce! Why would the US be interested in this area though, for the hot sauce? That looks nothing like Viet-Nam either. I doubt there are funny rock formations in Viet-Nam.
I was actually thinking more Brit vs China, as I can imagine Britain making a move on Hong Kong and this is a major route inland from there.. quite a big jump inland, but it's a fascinating area

Why is it that I get flashbacks from a war I never even took part in?
