But seriously. I know this has been discussed before...

Spec ops while over used do have a place in this game believe it or not. And I want them to own. Hard. And this is my end all solution to spec ops whinning.

But make them limited kits. Hear me out. (I know the mods are already considering closing this...)

Personally I don't think it makes sense to have them in regular class options. Not every person should be able to use them. They are special for a reason.

Spec ops soldiers are possibly the best suited soldiers for combat in terms of their armarment so it makes sense that they should own. Nerfing their ability to have nice weapons for the sake of gameplay doesn't make sense because this IS Project Reality not that game it is based on.

Ideally I would like to see the USMC have
Kabar (duh)
USP .40/.45 or MK23 SOCOM
M4A1/SCAR-L/G36c all preferably with an aimpoint/ACOG
Flashbangs (in lieu of the recent closed post)
C4/Timed C4 (the slam doesn't cut it for most situations)
SOFLAM

As for the other armies I would like to see something along these lines but with their respective native eqiupment.

I'm sorry if this sound noob and maybe it is but the natural evolution of this mod warrants the spec ops to be far more coveted than the easily accessable kit that it is now.

I have an idea, how about special opps kits get a really long spawn timer when you die. It would be a regular kit, but the n00bs & the ppl who die alot would avoid it because of the long timer.

there weapons wernt nerfed. they were sensitized. now they actually make sense and perform slightly like a real gun would with such things as recoil. and its project reality so a gun should behave slightly realistically.

and sf doesnt really have a role in this game that a different kit cant do so there isnt really a need for them but there good for diversity.

but yeah, make them a limited kit because all the faggots always pick in on US side and piss me off as they dive around corners and spray with there exceedingly accurate M4.

Spec Ops arnt great becasue of thier equipment, the tools dont make the craftsman my friends. Spec Ops are spec ops becasue of thier training and thier individual ability.

To replace them, perhaps mercenary, or USMC Vet/MEC Vet/PLA Vet, etc
