making progress on v0.6
dev team has made a lot of progress on v0.6 this week. we're getting close to releasing a first alpha build to testers.
lots of important game play changes coming in this release.
As an example the embedded SF Operator kit for Insurgents is now only available to Squad Leaders of squads of 6. This uses the Quartermaster system and is the only kit that will be available through the QM system for Insurgents. Another limitation is that the player cannot be spawned as a Civilian to request this kit.
Light AT is now a limited kit. Rifleman AP no longer exists and some of those capabilities have been folded into Engineers. Engineers carry a shovel and will be as critical to a team's success as having a Commander.
Rally Points have a few minor but impactful changes so they are less "gheymey".
Still shooting for an open beta sometime in April. More detailed update once we cut a build for testing.

Great to hear! Sounds great just one question: How many Light AT kits will there be available?
Thanks for all the great work! Can't thank you guys enough!

Thanks for the quick response, but dont you think that in real life every squad would be carrying at least one L-AT if they were in a battle were enemy might be having armorsupport?'[R-DEV wrote:dbzao']Right now the light AT has the same limitations as the support kit, 4 kits in a 32 player team.

Thanks for the quick response, but dont you think that in real life every squad would be carrying at least one L-AT if they were in a battle were enemy might be having armorsupport?
an example of a break down of squads:
Armor Support Squad (6)
Crewman x4
engineer x2
Air support squad (4)
Pilotx4
APC Support Squad (4)
crewman x4
Infantry#1 (6)
Officer
medic
support
light At
marksman
rifleman
Infantry#2 (6)
Officer
medic
support
light At
marksman
rifleman
Infantry AT #1 (6)
Officer
medic
support
light AT
heavy AT
rifleman
Infantry AT #2 (6)
Officer
medic
support
light At
Heavy AT
rifleman
Sniper Squad (2)
sniperx2
as you can see, that is MORE than 32 players. So that means every infantry squad will have plenty of AT capability.
