It would also be good if all players showed up, but that's something that will, I think, alway remain a nasty thing.. Oh well, we'll find a way

O yes, that would indeed be really sweet! Since squads and teams are very organized on such nights, it's good to have some practice (in all its forms) on a smaller scale, which can be used in these mass battles.

I was a one man guerrilla war behind enemy lines on OGT. Blew the arty on the PLA side three times, left a trail of burnt out vehicles, shot several people in the back with enough buckshot to have them in surgery for the next few weeks!
on HH there was a problem with aggessiveness on the Brit side hitting south flank. I wasn't a SL due to being a suicide bunny, but I kept throwing grapnel hooks up the rocks and trying to get everyone to rush up them at once and sprint at the enemy, using all their smoke. It seemed to take far too long before I sprinted through the enemy on my own and laid my Slams on the south flank RP to slow the enemy down. Some brit forces were manoevering themselves into bad positions they couldn't move out of and were prone to arty fire.
Airfield can be fun, but only if your squads move fast, covering terrain asap initially. After blowing the PLA's main bridge and nading their Plaza RP my numerous calls to prevent engineers repairing the bridge to allow the tank easy access over weren't listened to and then the murdering began as all we could do (considering the distance to Heavy AT availability) was to run at the tank and place c4 onto it physically, or lay mines around willy nilly. Our snipers had to be told where the enemy snipers were. That doesn't need to happen, we all know where they are going to go so get elevated firing positions and stop them raping our useful troops!
Overall : remember lads and lasses, the SHIFT key makes you sprint!

Yeah airport was a nightmare, they just didnt wanna give up that flag!
best bit of the whole night for me was when i walked round a corner and had 12 (yes twelve) chinese people looking away from me, single shot, 12 head shots. well pleased, OSS walks through the dead bodies to the flag.
OGT that chinese attack was awsome! they were going hard and fast all the way to the temple!!!

yeah... Where is that picture?
Anthony Lloyd, himself a former soldier in the British army and a Northern Ireland and Gulf War veteran:
"The men inside (the APC) might have been UN but they were playing by a completely different set of rules. They were Swedes; in terms of individual intelligence, integrity and single-mindedness I was to find them among the most impressive soldiers I had ever encountered. In Vares their moment had come."

AHAHAHA! Of course you had to get the part where I accidentially killed a friendly squadleader... Was scrolling through my weapons with the scroll wheel, and my finger slipped onto the left mouse button, sending two 5.56 rounds into his guts...Freshmeat wrote:Here is the start of the night and the last 20 sec of the night...The rest was just a blurrr to me

So sorry, by the way!
More guns and bullets make bad guys go away faster,
which in turn makes everyone in the area safer.

Just to get one thing clear.
The squad that attack North bridge on OGT was my squad.
And I must admit 2 things.
1. It was never the plan to attack from where we did, it just happened cause or SL (me that is) couldn't spawn at Trenches.
2. Seeing the 2 British jeeps going by was just hilarious. And that you didn't see the boat.
Just going to post this picture. Just before we encountered the jeeps.

Not sure whichone who sat where thou

That was another damn fine iGi Teamwork night.
The first two rounds were excellent. Airport was OK but most people had left by then and there wasn't much going on.
Commander is great on these teamwork nights. I think I may have been commander for all 3 nights now, can't be sure though. I never play commander in public as its a waste of time, but playing it with people who are interested in teamwork is amazing.
You order the squads to go places, defend or attack etc and they accept and start moving there, brilliant! SLs also ask for orders when things change rather than just running off.

MrD was kicking *** in my squad! Were were mostly an allrounder squad, though we had someone who was a medic who never, ever revived us. He just followed us and died.
My Bro =BC=Lozza was getting really frustrated though, he kept being the first person to die in every situation, maybe he was just a bullet magnet.
Though great game! I had to leave near to the end of Hills. Come on Brits!

Was a great night...Bob_Marly, I thought you did an excellent job as SL...we were all pretty keen for the teamwork, so I guess that helps too.
For my stint as SL (while Bob was off fixing his screen), I thought Orange did a GREAT job of Commander (Chinese side) keeping the SL's very informed of Arty status as well as relaying info of larger buildups and keeping each squad on task, so unsure of the complaints from above.
The initial Chinese assault (and subsequent taking and holding) of the Temple on OGT was great, and also the hard fought for Central Defence on Hills..a good fight, and good work from Bob's squad.
