Mr Whitlow reported that he might have spotted something to the NE but he then said that he was wrong... five seconds later all hell broke lose.... arty hit us hard and as the first shells hit the ground 20 meters away both me and Whitlow were shot in the head, and as we watch our bodies on the ground we could see a full chinese squad advance onto the flag. Awesome!

Thanks everybody for a great game!
Yeah that was freaking awesome. All of a sudden arty came down, then we were dead, and it was just so nicely orchestrated. Even though we got wtfpwned I had to admire their good timing of attacks, almost immediately after the artillery. It was basically just "BOOM crack crack dead, within 2 seconds, then we saw 6+ guys running over our corpses... Just brilliant.
This is us before getting slaughtered I think: (Sorry, coudn't resist taking a moment to SS our position since it looked nice)

I left at around the middle of airport due to me getting way too much twiglet goo on my mouse (lol) and I had a sense that we might have another draw - when I left we were about 7 tickets behind.

Thanks to all who attended and organised the event. The server was nicely set up I think, with the way the squads were kept the same especially. (Might be common but I don't see it often)

Indeed, our HeliX squad took command of Forest. Wow, what a battle..

I remember Fuzzhead shouting his lungs out warning me to get in the friggin' foxholes, while arty explosions were surrounding us. Thanks to him, I'm able to write this :p .

Doc.Canis wrote:See that's why you were a good leader. You didn't yell at my noob mistakes being on my second week of PR. Had lots of fun with you as SL and I'll vote for you next time

On a side note I joined a squad with a Hx. SL the last five minutes. That was some tight squad leading. She (I think) even told us to remember to reload before we stormed a flag. A lot of communication in that squad. Those few minutes impressed me a great deal... it seems the PR community is all about team work.
Oh, I can REALLY be a ***** when I first decide to lead. Just ask my fellow Helix. ;) By the way, you guys did a great job. Everybody in the squad deserves a mention in "Players recommended thread". In single file, not bunching up (to much) advanced and pushed threw! You where increadible!

By the way, we where the ones that pushed threw your lines in the end - ( so you where the smacktard that rained grenades on our heads!) We NEVER say die! Ever! Ever! EVER!

Nemises wrote:Was a great night...Bob_Marly, I thought you did an excellent job as SL...we were all pretty keen for the teamwork, so I guess that helps too.

For my stint as SL (while Bob was off fixing his screen), I thought Orange did a GREAT job of Commander (Chinese side) keeping the SL's very informed of Arty status as well as relaying info of larger buildups and keeping each squad on task, so unsure of the complaints from above.

The initial Chinese assault (and subsequent taking and holding) of the Temple on OGT was great, and also the hard fought for Central Defence on Hills..a good fight, and good work from Bob's squad.
HOLY RAPAGE BATMAN - you guys scared the heck out of me! There we was, trying to get to NB, and suddenly I see to jeeps filled to the brim pass right infront of us! That you didn't take us out was a friggin miracle!

What I remember was me saying like a complete idiot: "There are foxholes?" :P
