repair/rearm truck
as of now the us/other armies are using a hummer sized vehicle with a wrench/ammo painted on the sides. i think insted of having the hummer the M-939 truck should be put in as it would have room for parts, tools, ammo, and could unstuck stuck vehicles. and it would be more noticeable as a repair/ammo truck. its map icon could be like the hummers but slightly longer so you know its not a hummer.

i think the first and second ones are best config because they have the sweet big *** tires bumper and stuff.

I would love to see a recovery vehicle but I have neither the skills nor the equipment to model it.
Even if I did, I would more skills to code the way it works.
I would love to see a mid point between damaged tank and destroyed tank.
One that was burning but if recovered within 2 min of being damaged could be repaired.
But then again, I would also like to see the aircraft have to be manually reloaded by and engineer with a bomb cart.
Even if I did, I would more skills to code the way it works.

And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

Here is the suggestion, have the aircraft only reloadable by a crewman or engineer with a fortlift truck? Appropriate speed of reload for aircraft, and perhaps tanks too would be good. both take a long timeArmedDrunk&Angry wrote:I would love to see a recovery vehicle but I have neither the skills nor the equipment to model it.

But then you'd be stuck instead.
It's really just a resupply vehicle. You should be engineer anyway, so hop out and use the super-wrench.Jonathan_Archer_nx01 wrote:humvee repairs too slowly.

Knowone would ever want to do this though. Everyone wants to be in the action, not wait for a plane to land, rearm it, watch it take off, then wait again.

Agreed.
With the C.O. needing Support officers to help him out, the team will have two less grunts on the front lines as is. Sadly there is only 32 players tops.

BTW, nice thread.
I think we need to get a more sophistacated system to repair DESTROYED bridges. This support truck of yours should be able to handle it.
Plus you could have your ride seat about six grunts. Just to give them a quick ride somewhere. It is not a transport, but should be o.k. for a quick ride in the rear CPs.
maybe there should be two differnt types.
1. For the Armoured vehicles.
2. One for helping the C.O. and the dude with the shovel.
