New Voice Command

Post by xseeyax »

I apologize if this is a repost, I checked but didn't see it. There's nothing that annoys me more than when you are in an APC or something and the driver isn't in your squad and he's just driving into your death, there needs to be a stop command

Press K and type. Hopefully he'll get it.

I use the "jump out" voice. Usually they get it, if you repeat it a couple of times. And/or use chat.

Yes I do that all the time but you have to admit there are a lot of idiots out there that don't read the screen.

I don't know why DICE took the stop/wait command out of the game. It was in BF42 and was one of the most used and most important. It just seems daft to not have it in.

they took it out but added "VOIP" thats should solve your problems :| cause your not suppose to be leading other troops right...just your own squad.

I wish dice would have done it like OFP. There is a vehicle, squad, and around you "VOIP", This would have solved ALL the communication problems.

Yeah, I agree. If there's a "GO, GO, GO!" command it only makes sence to have a "STOP!" command too. Basic logic.

Also while we're at it, a "FRIENDLIES!" command would be good too. I know the guys shout "CEASE FIRING!" or whatever when they get hit by friendlies but that's only on reflex, it would be good to have this option on command to inform others and hopefully help prevent their mistakes.

take out the follow me command, cuz thats just pointless, and add the "STOP!" command. I would also love to have a "CEASE FIRING!" command.

How is the "Follow me" command useless?

First, there is VOIP.
Second, I never ever hear someone use it.

People around me. After we've done something I'll tell them to follow me and we go off on another assault.

But thats what VOIP is for.

And I really dont mean to offend you here, but if you dont have VOIP, then you shouldnt be a squad leader.

And if your saying it to someone is that is not in your squad, then I ask, why?

yeah that was my point, you should'nt be commanding troops that are not in your squad. And I have to agree "IF you dont have VOIP then why are you a squad leader", to me its like "I only play sniper", your not helping your team.
