no, cause not all the choppers have glass panels on the floor. An external camera, either directly below the chopper cockpit or next to the drivers side window area looking straight down will do fine.

The Blackhawk and its varients (http://eu.airliners.net/photos/photos/0/7/3/1169370.jpg) have the small glass windows. Could they be used as an alternate camera angle?

What about the use of a FLIR pod and suitable display?

What about having the gunner's camera in a small cross-com type-thing? not that i need it of course, ive only ever crashed 2 littlebirds, 1 blackhawk, 1 cobra, 1 Havoc... im the most modest person to grace these forums btw..

frankly, i suck at flying in pr. that's why i don't do it. i rather take a humvee or land rover than crashing and killing lots of ppl. but ive seen ppl doing amazing drop offs in narrow areas under fire w/out the cam. still, for noobs like me it would be nice to have a landing cam :D
