Curious as to why weapons have low damage

yea, make it like the RPd/M35/PTRS on Fh for 1942 where they sway around, in a sideways Z on the screen.

so basically if you are the usmc going against the mec/insurgents body armor is completely useless. I'm assuming that the pla rifle isn't 7.62.

Based on my last game, I can say the the M24 will down a man if shot in the head...

3 insurgents were on a building. All had RPGs. One was standing up with his binoculars. I put a single round through his head and dropped him. His friends ran for the hills :razz: . I'll see if I have the battle recorder file...

also the m16 should have really low recoil..but in this mod, it has the worst of all of the guns, on the otherhand the G3 is an incredible killing machine with no recoil at all.

really? :-o are you playing a different game :confused:
the g3 has tons of recoil while the m16 can be used on burst for medium to short ranges, dont even try using the g3 of full auto outside of 15 meters

After reading we were soldiers... humans can sure survive a lot of hits! Lots of people surviving headshots.

out of all guns in single shot. m16 is by far the worst...g3 the best..and in fully auto g3 is also the best. even in full auto you should be able to control g3 better than burst shot m16..you can also manually burst fire the g3..which makes it even better. The reason the m16 is burst at all was because of poorly trained soldiers that didn't conserve ammo. You can burst just as easily without it doing it for you with much less recoil. Test it yourself against a wall..click the m16 once in burst..it almost shoots up 90 degrees..now do a burst with the g3...incredible. Also do this in singleshot keep clicking every few seconds and see how far each bullets are from eachother. m16 about 2 miles per bullet..g3 about 1 mm. If you honestly think the G3 has poor accuracy then you don't play usmc enough, their weapon is putrid compared.

The real reason for 3rb is because they proved that the fourth shot leaving the gun is far worse than the third one in terms of accuracy. The US doesn't have "poorly trained" soldiers. The M16 (Original) had fully automatic, like the M14 before it, but the new design was too error prone and fully automatic fire jammed too often.

Trained soldiers can burst on their own(don't even need to be trained), by poorly trained i meant they just hold the trigger down and waste ammo hitting nothing. You can look this up if you want, but this isn't the topic. And the reason it got jammed up was because the bore/chamber wasn't chrome-lined. Also the A3 is fully automatic. I just hope they update the guns to the m16a4 so we can have some damn scopes.

It actually seems pretty balanced except for a few scenarios similar to one vs multiple enemies. (By the time your able to put 3 shots into that first enemy the other one will have already turned and will have started shooting)

I can see how higher damage could be out of the question currently with the pin point accuracy with most rifles, would it be possible to create a ironsight sway or a small cone of fire? Im usually against cone of fires but if our sights are as steady as a rock all the time it might be needed.

Another idea is to somehow prevent that enemy from being able to jog and dive into the near by bushes after being plugged with bullets...

You probably entered a Server with Modded settings, and not the Official PR settings. This is a trend that has developed within the admin community to some extent, and something we're going to address.

hmm, "going to address" Sounds good. These servers that nerf the PR settings put off the wrong message to new people.
