British kit icons

Last night, whilst playing as insurgent on Helmand extraction, I picked up what I thought was a British medic kit to heal a squad mate only to find that it was in fact the V.I.P kit and I was instantly slain!

I'm not sure if I'm the only person getting this, but the icons that appear on dropped british kits are totally incorrect for me. Example: a British kit will be on the ground with the anti-tank icon on it, but when you pick it up it turns out to be a medic kit.

Is this a know issue?

if im not mistaken, british grenadier is labeled specops, and insurgent specop is labeled rpg/at as well. dont know why these changes are here, but i often pick up kits turning out to be other than i was hoping on helmland

the british rifle man is also labled anti tank.

The only one I positively remember is SL = Spec Ops icon.

I think this is because there's more kits, and only a certain amount of icons.

I take it icons can't be reskinned?

I wish they could come up with unique icons for every kit. I hate looking at my squad and having to ask if somebody's grenadier or rifleman.

me too. it's a real drag when you're trying to work out what kits are needed.

We plan to have different icons.

But sometimes in the backpacks in the floor we get wrong icons. We don't know why, but it happens :S
