I completely understand that server admins have the right to moderate their servers as they please, but I really can't understand why so many of them insist on people using "clean language". I can't think of anything more vulgar than the act of killing other human beings, be it simulated or not, yet somehow these people have the nerve to tell me I can't say the 7 naughty words, or make references to bodily anatomy. I'm sorry, but if you're not mature enough to handle someone using langauge in a way you don't like, then you're probably not ready for a game that simulates the killing of other humans.

Every server with rules like this should be taken down and switched over to Yahoo Tic-Tac-Toe.

Most of the people that are really impacted by this are the 12 year old dumbasses spamming "stfu *****" "o ya ur moms a *****". I say f*ck'em

. As long as they warn you first and don't just auto-kick, I'm fine with it.

Mature people can give up swearing for a few hours on a game server. Immature people can't. This way we can get rid of the tards like Mr. Gump here.

First of all, all of these servers I'm talking about use auto-kick features, and secondly if you can't handle 12 year old players being immature, then you're not really mature yourself.

Who cares what people say? I can totally understand if someone is putting out a message of hate and intolerance, but what these people do is act like their the FCC and go around looking for any excuse to lay down the ban hammer because "bad words" are used, regardless of context.

I am going to blame it on the parents here. They know what comes with online video games, and if they are playing a game that is based on war with blood, violence, and suicide bombing, then language will of course come with it.

I know they pay the bills and can do whatever they want, but what do you expect from the community? Smiles and giggles?

the game is rated T, for teen. that means that 13 year olds can play it. PG-13 movies can only have the word "f**k" in them once.

so, take it up with the ESRB. gg.

i often get angry and typ in profanities, except i go like shjt or fvck and stuff like that.

OSF server is over the top though, if you typ in WTF you get kicked, its obvious it is set up for 7 year olds as they are the only kind that would do anything

Wow, please stop posting "admins can run their servers however they wish". If you took the time to read my post in the first place, you'd see that I completely understand this; that's not the reason I'm making the post, because it's not the issue.

The game is rated T for teen with the clause that "online gameplay may vary" - as these kids are playing online they deserve no special protection.

Their parents should keep them away from a game that in all honestly should be rated mature aside from the fact that EA manages to walk the narrow line by not putting blood spatters in (a feature that PRMM adds).

We can handle them swearing. We just don't feel like playing with tards. So this is a nice way of booting their type from the servers. Notice how useful the rules are for booting out people like Mr. Gump? As for using auto-scripts, it's incredibly annoying trying to play a game and constantly having to check if people are being idiots spamming the text.

i care what people say. and usually you get a warning. so the "ban hammer" isnt coming down on the first offense. my guess is youve been banned or kicked a few times. which means you didnt take your warnings seriously. so you deserve it IMO.

and i dont like playing with immature players. thats one of the main reasons i play PR. no irritating 12 year olds to deal with. if i wanted to play with 12 year olds, i'd play CS.

Now that this situation is a little lightened up...

I personally do not agree with language filters while playing games... I have trained myself not to swear since switching to PR, and believe me, I am proud of myself. But the fact that yes, you are killing people, and yes, you can commit acts of terrorism, you should not be bound to the rules of language... That only applies here, on these forums.
