Please read the post I posted earlier....
Anthony Lloyd, himself a former soldier in the British army and a Northern Ireland and Gulf War veteran:
"The men inside (the APC) might have been UN but they were playing by a completely different set of rules. They were Swedes; in terms of individual intelligence, integrity and single-mindedness I was to find them among the most impressive soldiers I had ever encountered. In Vares their moment had come."

i see what youre saying. i never go heavy AT, i leave that for the guys who like things going boom / order my fire team members to do it.Gyberg wrote:Here is why this is a crappy idea: Request H-AT at apc/supply drop/homebase get to your squads rally point, realise there is no one who is willing to supply you, request a rifleman kit from the rally point and in an instant you got a one man army with infinite ammo for H-AT aswell as grenades m16 etc etc etc. As long as he keeps switichng between the two kits they will stay. It will be exploited!
what if it was medic?
(at this point, im just being selfish, since i always go medic).

Why are you all focused on HAT. The idea here is that you should be able to swap to whatever kit you like. The wait time is the same as if you were going to a specialty kit, but now you have more choices.
That's all. I'm not saying unlimited requests of mundane kits, I'm saying including them with the requests. If you're a medic, along with 3 other guys in your squad, when that crate hits the ground, why be able to switch to support but not SF?

this idea is just stupid. IF your SL assigns you to a kit in the begining of around stick to it. teamwork would not be requierd if one qould switch kits like crazy. you need to pick a kit that supports your squad not the first best kit you see apropriet. so no i am not a fan of this idea as it reduces the teamwork aspect of the game. if you wanto lonewolf go play singelplayer

i think what would be useful was if you were to put all kits as pick up kits.
like on basrah you have to find the lvd and m95 except you should make an room at the main base where you can pick up the kits form the "racks" so to speak.
that would end the need to request kits, although would add another element of "i whant teh GL"
also i think its about time i bought "him" a whiskey lol
