Hey guys. My brother and I would like to play a 1v1 sniper war with PR on AL Basarah. Is there any way to make this possible with console commands or anything of the sort? I know currently there needs to be atleast 3 members in your squad before you can get the sniper kit, is there a way to change this just for a 1v1 matchup? thanks

Create a local server and do the command in the console that lets you use Kits. Although that might just be for Pilot/Crewman kits, not sure. Someone around here knows the command also.

On Al Basrah the M95 is a pickup kit and so are the SVDs. So you wouldn't need to request them

you can go to:
C:\Programme\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\python\game

In the above mentioned folder there is a file called "realityconfig_test.py". BACKUP THE ORIGINAL "realityconfig.py" FIRST and than change the "realityconfig_test.py" to "realityconfig.py".
This test config will change many things. It will allow you to request any kit you want (sniper, marksman, heavy AT etc). You wont have to wait 3 mins between requesting kits, you will respawn quickly and much more.

There are multiple SVDs. So they could use those. There are rumors of two M95s, but I think there's only one.

Don't bother with editing python. Use this:

In order to fly a chopper or a plane you need a pilot kit. Follow these directions to be able to get this kit on a local server.

1. Start your local server and open the console (~).
2. Enter the following: sv.numPlayersNeededToStart 1
3. Hit "Enter". Game should now start with a 90 second wait time.
4. Create a squad.
5. Request the pilot kit near your main flag.

I "think" it will work with 2 players as it does with just one. I don't know where the cutoff number is. Can I get a dev's (or anyones) confirmation so I can edit into the wiki?

That would be awesome. You'd want to use the 32 player version or something of course. But the SVD is definately superior at medium range, so why not?
