Naval maps would be a nice idea, but I know they are not a priority. However it would be nice to have a type 45 destroyer from the Royal Navy bombarding the coastline before the Royal Marines Attack.

And what would also be nice and that is possiblility to be able to sink the USS Essex. It gets bomb time and time again and it still floats. After a few hits it sinks (with realistic effects coughcapsisingcough). I find it annoying that I bomb the f*** out of the carrier and it lives that isnt realistic.

would be great to have statics destroyer with guns and missils , and BTW they can be destroyable , so migs/j10 can drop bombs on it

we really couldnt do a realistic moden day naval battle. most of it would be firing the missiles at the enemy ship over grate distances and hoping they sink it :p

thou i do agree, i would like to see naval arty, was my first post on these forums infact was suggesting maybe replacing arty with naval arty on cosal assault maps but wouldnt be worth modeling a destoryer etc.

the Essex is a static object, split into around 5 diffrent blocks that you have to fit together in the map editor. if it was possible to turn it into 1 object, it would probaly lag alot of users due to its poly count etc, so its really not worth the time effot etc to just make a sinking ship, that will hardly get sunk.

also bare in mind if we did make it skinerble, we would be encoraging carrer bombing even more, it would be worse than the chinese with there J-10s on Wake...

ehhh, im 90% sure FH2 dont have a carrier, they have a sub but im pretty sure they dont have a carrier, they do how ever in FH1 (infact they have afew) you might be getting confused.

I want small patrol/gun boats and stuff like that. Hell, you could pull a WWII Online and give us all Fairmile B's for shits and giggles.

Smaller patrol and fast attack craft would be a far more likely addition. Maps are just too small for combat between actual ships, as Rhino has pointed out. However, with the "new" Navy Riverine Squadrons and the frequent use of fast attack boats in the Persian Gulf, "gunboats" are not out of the question. Larger fast attack craft could also be objectives, I suppose.

Rhino youv been left out in the Dark, FH2 bought the Ark Royal Carrier Model From FH1 Reskinned it and had it in game on Wake including its Fairy Swordfish Bombers they then relized this was big and covered it up the Images were Lost but they Had a Carrier in Game, that Moved, and Could Hold and Launch Aircraft.
