Radio comms voices quiet..........

Post by plimmy »

I have noticed that in PR the voices over the comms is rather quiet.
I have tried BF2 and the sound is ok there. I have looked at audio settings and they seem ok also.

Does anyone have any ideas???

I set the VoIP volume to full, turn down the sound effect volume in PR and then crank up the windows system volume so that the VoIP becomes louder relative to everything else in the game.

Or are you talking about the "enemy spotted" and "we need support" stuff?

i think turning down your effect sounds may work.

I mean the game voices...............not voip.

It is rather annoying because not all talking comes up in text.

Really? For me that **** is WAY too loud. I can't even play on 64 player servers. It's just a constant wall of annoying radios.

Hmm, these are too loud for me too. Still, you could try a similar thing:

(1) turn down the volume on voip and sound effects

(2) set ingame radio message volume to max

(3) turn up the windows system volume, or the volume of your speakers/headphones to compensate for the reduced effects volume

I understand what you are saying, but why would it be ok for vanilla BF2?

As I play other games such as BF2/2142 I would have to re-adjust settings all the time.

BTW Is there an adjustment for Ingame Radio?
