Sonders yes they carry 600 rounds now

@Everyone else: trust me when I say, that v0.6 has ALOT of gameplay changes. I would have to say, bigger changes going from v0.5-v0.6 than going from v0.4-v0.5.

I think most you will be pleasantly surprsed

Good job team!

2 questions:
1: Will you make a promo video (i loved the 0.5 video)?
2: Will you make small demo video's (youtube style) to explain the changes?

Especially those 0.5 demo videos were REALLY helpful. :D

With the release of v0.5 the mod has gained popularity unlike any prior release of Project Reality. As a first time mod team, along with that increase in popularity comes a few learning points.

One thing we have made a decision on is that as of v0.6 the Project Reality team will not support any form of server side modding. We will support modifying the configuration files within very limited parameters and we intend to provide some configuration profiles for server admins to use, but modifying any of the .zip archives included with the mod will not be supported.

Server side modifications can dramatically affect how the mod plays. That level of impact on game play is not something the Project Reality team wishes to hand over to server administrators. The mod will play how we designed it. If folks don't like that there's lots of other great BF2 mods releasing in the coming weeks and hopefully everyone will be able to find one to their liking.

good BUT then all the garbage that plays in the short spawn time servers will come and stink up the good servers.

looks extremely bad ***. the map pics i saw look awsome, as to the tanks and everything.
i just hope the shotgun is revised and up the to the job of this tunnel fighting i hear of.

Challenger 2 and Warrior look like serious sexy time. I presume the C2 is going to be more accurate and better-armoured than it's American counter-part? ;)

The maps sounds pretty damned good as well. Can't wait!

wow, i wonder what that means :| , cuz PR's news is all about Top Secrecy and no release days + no information in progress.

that was set out 3 news updates before the release

was posted on the 01-31-2007, 08:45 PM, and was released on 02-09-2007, 08:29 AM GMT time that is so it was relased on time. that was 10 days before the release of it, we do the same for every version when we know for a fact when its going to come out, dont give us any of your smart remakrs please untill you have your own mod with a huge population making quility stuff and won the silver spanner or above in MOTY.

actuallly there are alot of mods coming thats true...also we have been helping the USI guys test in case you didnt know they have a tester forum on our PR tester forums...

lol wtf are you talking about?

The last 2 major releases were announced a good two or three weeks before the release date and the same will happen for v0.6. We work with a volunteer labor pool that fluctuates in availability and the stuff we are typically attempting to bring into the mod is very unpredictable as most of it was never intended to be done within BF2.
