wasteland, you know there is so much noobing on devfile. As soon as a squad gets their act together to do pickups/ repairs with excellent teamwork you go and ruin it.

Woody, I don't think they knew I was there until I played the music just before liftoff. The BH didn't try to get away until then (he never fully landed). The cobra pilots kind of turned to look at me, but I think they were stunned for a moment. Or they were doing the familiar "WTF? I'm USMC, right?"

Either way, they turned to look at me, frozen, and then tried to sprint away when I turned on the music.

Hell, as engineer I've been jumping on top of buildings, throwing my c4 and detonating it and taken some low flying choppers out

On a side note, I think that J1H4D guy in the chatbox is the same guy that was TKing A10 pilots and parking forklifts in front of them last time I was in there, I think he made more than one name. The one I saw was J1H4DJ33P. BAN HIM

I think it's a clan. There were several J1H4D guys on when I was playing. Although I'd see nothing wrong with banning them all. They seemed like a bunch of asshats.

So what was the plan? Just pick them up and RTB? Or did you have an engineer on board?

It is so satisfying picking up a downed pilot in the middle of the desert! last night on devfile the second A-10 pilot was downed but in my squad requesting a pickup, so I landed my A-10 and taxied it down to the blackhawk spawn, got into that and performed successful extraction west of palace, red smoke indicator and all.. brought him back to the base to ... wait for his A-10 to re-spawn
