Actually, no one here not even mentioned only important thing.
If you want to run this game on highest settings, you need to have 3 gigs of RAM. If you don't have 3 Gb of RAM, you will not be able to run highest settings, even if you have 8800 GTX.
I've had 3 Gb in my old machine, with old AGP 9600xt, and everything was completely smooth on highest settings.
Currently, I have much faster machine, PCI-x, but with "only" 2.5 Gb RAM, everything running smooth, every map, but I've had to put textures on medium.

Lies. I have an 8800 GTS (cheaper version of GTX) and 2 gigs ram, and dual core. I run all high settings with 100 fps. Tell me again what your ranting about?Makee wrote:Actually, no one here not even mentioned only important thing.

What do you mean you can't? The game wont let you raise your graphics to all high? are you also running Vista? I got 2GB of RAM, 2.4Ghz AMD 64bit Dual core CPU, and the shitty X1600 512MB. Maybe its the 2GB of ram then, cause I can still run the game on Windows Vista with graphics settings all on high and AA on x6. Although for Al Basrah I need to bring down textures to medium to be able to get that 60+ FPS. On Windows XP pro platform I didn't need to bring down textures to medium to get 60+ FPS, with high settings the game worked fine.dummyyy wrote:How did you get it too all high? I have x1600 512 mb too but I cant seem to play on high. The highest settings I could go is on medium with just one high and 2X aa...
If you are using Vista, then I suggest that you first set your theme to "Windows Classic" so you don't have that Aero glass eating up your RAM and also "Exit" Sidebar.

I got OkAy FPS tonight, considering my brothers downloads were lagging the whole network.
