Shaped Charges

This is somewhat in discussion of the SLAM poll right now. ( http://realitymod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18615 )


Would it be possible to make the M2SLAM into the mine it is and then add another item to the Special Forces kit: The shaped charge (Will try to find a good example later but gota go renew my license today). Anyway it would be for destroying strategical objects like bridges, arty, and my favorite use, Walls on destructible maps. It can just do a lot of damage to an object and not have a large blast radius since the blast is focused forward. I'd love to see a city map in a future release with destructible walls, so your squad could place a shaped charge on the wall, stand a few feet away and when it blasts a hole you can rush in and kill anyone who's on the other side. I'm pretty sure it's real but it's entirely up to the devs on whether or not it should be added.

C4 is a shaped charge,however I don't think the BF2 engine can handle anything more than a radial detonation.

from the SLAM poll:
Can you make it fire a large projectile inflicting damage? Like place it on a wall or tree like the pic, detonate it and it fires a "bullet' but have that bullet have the power of like a tank round or something? Like a sticky claymore, but with one large round

Uuuh no, C4 (Compsition 4/PE4) is a plastic variant of RDX which can be molded in to a shaped charge.
