How does the OFP/ArmA community see us?
After becoming fairly active on the BIS forums, I have found something I think you should see. How does the ultimate realism community see us?

hehe yeah its actually very funny to read, the "tide" really turns when the 0.5 promo-vid was launched.
Anthony Lloyd, himself a former soldier in the British army and a Northern Ireland and Gulf War veteran:
"The men inside (the APC) might have been UN but they were playing by a completely different set of rules. They were Swedes; in terms of individual intelligence, integrity and single-mindedness I was to find them among the most impressive soldiers I had ever encountered. In Vares their moment had come."

Uh, what's the point? You play one game so that makes you a part of a supposedly homogeneous community that can be compared to another supposedly homogeneous group that play another game?
That's elitism at its worst gentlemen. And though they like to label others, there's usually more in common between elitists from different camps than between them and the rest of the gamers.
Don't degenerate to their level.

It’s inferior why, because you don’t like it? If you’re a “reality” junkie it’s a far more in depth game than PR is. That’s only because PR is stuck using the BF2 engine and can’t implement some of the features ArmA has. ArmA can be as wide open as a capture the island map or it can be scaled down to a capture the flag battle in a 4 block area. They are both great games.russ555 wrote:who gives a **** what they think they play an inferior game
