I have only seen one pilot eject from his ride. It was on Al Bas, I was Commanding an APC and was the assault rally point at Facility, and this pilot floats down thirty feet away, runs to the back of the APC and grabs a rifle.
I was thining: Holy Cow, we need more guys like this.


P.S. Be cool if the pilot could carry some binocs.
Be nice if pilots cost more tickets when they die, they take a lot of tax dollars to train.
I am very impressed with the single squad chopper squads we have now. Ejecting from a air ride that is fixing to blow up should be SOP, and so should picking up a down pilot in order to save those tickets, they have around five to ten mins until their ride respawns, so pilots go on your own Escape and evade mission.
Heh heh, that was me ;-)

Loud beeping sounds and fire coming from my engine didn't feel very appealing to me, so I flew until I was in a position to eject and land safely near something that could give me a new kit.
