if a jet is going super sonic you cant hear them befor they get to you it is a law of Physics, the plane is going fater the sound there for the plane will pass you befor the sound dose. and a hellie is traveling fast but not as fast as sound so you can hear them coming but not like if they were hovering of moving slowly

if i can get video to work ill show you you could no hear the plane until it past the people and it was realy close to them

ugg i ges i was not clear in the first post then but they were talking about no hearing a plane coming to kill you but it would be comeing at you and that was why you would not hear i was in the frame of mind that you were talking about it comeing at you to but yea if it is not coming at you would hear it.
