Some poeple have to share bandwidth with other people in the household. Be it roomies or family members.solodude23 wrote:To the guys that just, "can't stand" full downloads...what the hell is the matter? Too impatient for the wait? Upset about the download size? I have 1mb cable with a top of around 170kb/s. I don't complain. Can you seriously not wait a few hours? Its not like you have to do it every damn day. I don't see what the problem is.

And some people dont always have access to highspeed, and in my case, I have to go several months without it during the summer months. While a 56k connection means that I cannot play MP, SP maps and local servers for later versions let me practice new features and have fun with them, which can pass the time when Im not at work. With my download manager, a 250mb or so file is managable on a slow connection, but something of upwards of a gig, like the size of PR, would take days on end. So to answer your question, yes, I would be impatient about the download size and wait, but only in that time framesolodude23 wrote:To the guys that just, "can't stand" full downloads...what the hell is the matter? Well that one's easily solved. If you download by Torrent, set the up- and downstream to a maximum kbps. And if you use a download manager, do the same thing. For all I care use 'download accelerator', but instead of accelerate, deccelleratemattcrwi wrote:Some poeple have to share bandwidth with other people in the household.
