Rap isn't technically music.

It falls under the category of chav violence rituals commonly known as 'Toonz' these 'Toonz' are actually a primitive form of rape.

Two issues with this

1. Copyright law, most likely wouldn't be a problem but the devs aren't stupid enough to take the risk

2. Realism, it's all cool and groovy on the big screen when "flight of the valkaries" is being blasted out of the hues in apocalypse now but in reality that just wouldn't happen. All you would hear is a wash of noise. On the contrary, it made the scene so much more provocative and just down right cool!

Ummm..... because I'm sure the military just *loves* Immortal Technique. Oh well, as the wise man says "universal truth is not measured in mass appeal".

All you people who are hating on rap are full of it. Do I say that rock is bullshit because I don't like Blink 182? No. There's a lot of great rap out there, but you're just too prejudiced to give it a try. Try listening to some Immortal Technique, Bone Thugz and Harmony, Roots Manuva, Hieroglyphics, Del tha Funkee Homosapien, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, or any of many others.

Thats going in my sig :D

One of the big problems in haveing a 'radio' in the vehicles like in BFV is that there really isnt any defining music today like there was during that time. It was different during Vietnam, with almost everyone listening to bands like CCR, Deep Purple, and Jefferson Airplane. That really isnt the case for todays music, with so much different styles of music (and even though I hate to say it, the most popular music would probably be some hip hop or rap that everyone would end up killing each other over  )

Yes, I should have included Living Legends. Also Saul Williams. Seriously though, there's a lot of good hip-hop.

And for those lazy, blitzed days, there's nothing like grooving to some tripple-time Bone Thugz rhythms.

I've seen USMC and US army troops pump loud heavy metal music while inside tanks, playing it over the comm channel, however, I don't think its audible to people outside the tank.

But anyways, BFV was fun for the music, but adding it to PR would be a tad annoying. I can just imagine dying and hearing some music I hate, rap comes to mind, to make my death that much more painful.

However, I would like to see a full length song in the insurgent cars. That would rock. I even know an Arabic DJ who would love to do it. Would be frigging hilarious.
