Problems rearming at RPs

Is the amount of ammo available at RPs limited? Sometimes I can rearm light AT at them, sometimes I cannot. What's that about?

(Before you start: yes I was within 3m, yes I was a LAT soldier, no I wasn't dead, yes it was my squad RP).

I find that i have to wait for some time to get re-supplied

I think the RP has limited ammo like the car trunks.
I get only one L-AT from a RP and 4 or 6 from a trunk.

Btw:
A ammo indicator would be nice so that we dont waste time try to reload from an empty trunk.

I've noticed also, that if you spend all ammo from RP, RP disappears.

Am I right?

Hmm, no! An RP stays till it is blown away or a new one set.

The ammo at an RP is very limited, you have to start relying on riflemen and vehicles I'm afraid. Imagine if you will that you are spawning on your RP and it is under attack, providing you aren't getting naded to hell, you might want to switch to auto and spray and pray, whilst within the rearming radius. You won't want to be getting anything more than magazines for your rifle off it. It's an RP, not a supply crate!

Strange,

I've noticed that RP's after some time, just disappears. This was case, as I thought, when RP was placed for a long time.
Few weeks ago, I was SL, saw enemy closing to our RP, I took medic kit, spawned on my RP, and started to pop out smoke to prevent enemy to see our RP. I was on the floor, next to our RP, nobody didn't fired any round on our RP or on its direction, but RP just disappear after some time supplying me with smoke nades.

Ok tnx, silly me.

Anyway, every time I spawn as SL, on our RP, I'm placing new RP over old one, if situation is safe there.

VERY limited ammo in the rally points, Still can get 2 heavy AT from em when there fresh though. SL can place new RP every 60 seconds (bit too low IMO)so just ask them to put another even on the same spot and rearm. But if your AT, as when i play Heavy AT if i have just 1 round left, and my hummer is dry, and theres no APC around, hunt down an enemy transport car shoot that. and if its a hummer you can hide in the back and get ammo around 10 rockets. The vehicles "corpse" will hang around for about 5 mins. Enough time for you to shoot down another vehicle to move to and rearm. I used to do that on EJOD holding back the whole USMC force in thier base rocketing any vehicle that tried to break through to petrol station, while all the noobs on my team figured out how to cap flags in a specific order. But thinking back its pretty lame cause no one on the opposistion team ever bother to effectively counter heavy AT with sniper :roll:
