Hi guys

Does anyone know if i can just remove Special Forces from my Hardrive without removing the whole BF2 Deluxe? Its a waste of space as i dont play it??

The deluxe pack is merely vBF2 and SF isn't it? can you remember when you installed, if you had to install SF separately?

but checking start/controlpanel/addremoveprograms you should be able to find if SF is a seperate installation, remove it from there and see how things go.

Want to be cheeky? go c :p rograms/ea/bfs/mods and delete the SF folder and then remove shortcuts from desktop and quicklaunch.. You remove the HDD clogging data and a registry cleaner can clear up the problems after the fact.

If you really want to save the space.

Goto

C:/ Program Files/EA Games/Battlefield 2/mods

delete the folder called 'xpack'

aslong as you have the 'bf2' and 'pr' folder in there it will be fine.

Doesn't Xpack allow ou to play night maps on PR, if there are any?!

there arent any nightmaps at the moment and if there is in the future then the shaders will be included so you wont ever need xpack for pr.
