Are we text messaging here? Spell them out, I can't read acrynomiun.'[R-PUB wrote:Garabaldi']OGT is one of the best maps ever.
So is RTK.
I don't like the Chinese maps for a couple reasons.
- They always feel the same
- The jungle isn't very well done for my tatse
- The bamboo is like some kind of force field
- The Chinese skins are too closely related to th US
- The Chinese weapons sound like nerf guns
- The maps are stale
- Every Chinese map seems to play the same way
- I see less teamwork on the Chinese maps then I do on the others

I think if anything, a good 24/7 map is one with some great replay value. Basically maps that offer all sorts of different playing styles. From playing in a mere infantry squad, armor VOIP or piloting transport and attack choppers. I think that's why I like playing Al Basrah alot, since games can be pretty unpredicatble.
Hell just earlier today I had alot of fun when my squad got chased down the river south of village. We were under constant fire from Insurgents, and even ambushed by a technical (Luckily I had L-AT). Finally we were extracted by a Blackhawk, and had a close call with an anti-air missile during retreat. It was pretty intense, but things like that really make maps memorable.
I think Qwai River would be an excellent 24/7 canidate. Lots of possibilities on that map, from having skirmishes in the forest hills, being ambushed while driving down some road, helicopter insertions, being pinned down by a sniper, or partaking in the mass fighting that concentrates around the river flags. Great all around map really.
Jabal is pretty cool (Second on my list), but I think it can use some improvements. EJOD would be third on my list, since it offers a nice blend of armor and infantry combat.

1. hummm, I dont really see how that can be when some are jungles, some are forest, some are open, 1 is urban, and some are mixed.NavalLord wrote:Are we text messaging here? Spell them out, I can't read acrynomiun.

2. they aint all jungles?
3. ehhh, you can shoot though them..
4. what about the UK maps? and is that really such a bad thing?
5. so if the sounds where changed, you would like them more?
6. this makes no sence..
7. how so? qwai and OGT are very diffrent maps... both are brillant maps but both are very diffrent.
8. I disagree tottaly with this, I infact see more teamwork on maps like qwai and OGT than I do on alot of MEC and INS maps. In the end its more about the players than the maps that reflect the teamwork.
you still havent to me really exsplained why you/other players dont like chinese maps. I really hoped before players would like them more when the chines got the QBZs...

Should i just wait on the new version???'[R-DEV wrote:duckhunt']
oh and some stuff in .6 lol
Could it be cool to have theme weeks, like one week we could host maps with Jungle, and then just maps with desert and then forrest...
We could also blend in one Extraction in the rotation if you like..
My main objective here is to give you what you want, so we all can benefit from it and have a great time......
