I demand new models :)

Post by Ironcomatose »

Ive been looking at the media models lately and i notice that most of them are almost 2 years old. Then have no skins and the models are crude. I would like to think that you guys have done more work on all of those nice weapons and i think we all would like to see it. If there is a reason why you dont upgrade those models just say so and it will be done. Anyone else feel the same way?

They are devoting almost all of their modeling resources on the British military.

They REALLY need to redo the British Special Operations gun (L119A1) and sniper (L115A1 LRR). They haunt me.

Most of the modelers (As previously stated) are working on British.
If you want new models for buildings and such, make them yourself, I was actually learning how to do that, still am.

Are you saying the two weapons I was talking about in my other post are being re-done? Or have a possibility of being re-done? :O

Well, I could submit another app with more content and see if I could get a job modeling statics...

I'm rather busy at the moment, but I'm sure I could set some times aside over the next month.

PR seems to focus on programming more than models. I don't mind, the code changes have brought in more players than other mods model focus.

Some new skins are going to be arriving thanks to Maistros' work. I would love to see new models for all the old EA material but PRs few modellers have mmuch higher priorities. This is the reason I hope another mod decides to "merge" with PR and bring a ton of models and modelers with them.

Once the code and weapon/vehicle attributes are largely complete I imagine some model heavy content will arrive.

Isn't updating the Media section an R-PUB responsibility?

'[R-DEV wrote:xW0LFx']Right now, we are utterly only concerned with releasing v0.6 on a feasable timeline with no bugs. SO for the time being most of our team is working on .6 and do not have the time to update the WIPs section, although it dose need updating. It will be done, just not now :)
Thats the answer i was looking for!! Thank you very much good sir.
