Rally Points in the sea, are they an exploit?
Just saw this happen on Muttrah 24/7 and questioned it but no one was bothered. What do you think?

Speaking of rally points, what bugs me was on Muttrah yesterday, on TG server while USMC, a ton of guys where seemingly spawning out of no where between a wall and a static car... After dying once from the spawning guys and seeing how they where spawning, there was a rally point inside the wall... What's tricky about that was, there was about 2 inches of the rally point sticking out... How is someone supposed to know that... I just owned them though with the M4 and put some SLAMs down next to the wall. Still, that is annoying...

hey the devs are revisiting the RP set-up.
They most likly will limitit in some way to allow the CO instilations to have more weight on the battlefield. Particularly the Firebase (spawning in and special kit access for the next CP assault).
We should see things change quite a bit.

Yeah, that is very good place for RP, I'm doing that too, on Jabal.'[R-DEV wrote:Fullforce']I did use a water-borne RP for a game of Jabal, over on the east beach, but that wasn't in the water, just on the very edge of the beach. So my squaddies'd get wet feet, but wouldn't come in drowning![]()
If people can see your RP than that is not exploit for sure, in any way.
If RP can't be seen than that is exploit and simply cowardly way of playing.

agreed. The idea here is for the squad to drop their gear/ruck sacks and Rally there if their plan goes all to hell. Putting them in water would warp the ammunication and other equipment. Seems gamey to put them underneath water.bosco wrote:Rallypoints in rivers/deeper water are a bit bugged, it seems like bullets dont do any damage to them, you can only destroy them with nades.
PS. Why do so many people call them sandbags.
When I first played the mod, this guy was saying to put sandbags down to the SL. I thought, dude, I could have sworn I read the guide fairly well before playing, what is this guy talking about.
