24/7 Muttrah City Server

Is this server ranked with abr,my stats from that server don't show up on gloryhounds, it is ranked....

Isn't this server a short spawn noob server? Should use DEV guidelines for sever settings and use pros settings.

Shit server, avoid!

Unless the spawn times have been sorted. This is not vBF2 but this server is doing all it can to make it like so, shame.

Is this the server that runs the 32 player version of Muttrah? Personally, I prefer the 64 player version, but I still play there once in a while. It's good for fun, although it seems to be lacking in really serious gameplay. That might, however, just be bad luck when I've joined. Anyway, I quite like it, at least when I get my hands on a Littlebird. Seems I'm one of the few who can actually keep the thing in the air for more than 5 minutes... :wink:

Hey guys, I'm also an admin there and the reason, why we change the whole PR settings is just that the map is really unbalanced and we try to balance it...
But I hope that the Map in 0.6 is better balanced, so we can set the settings back to the Devs setting.

Actually, the DEV settings are FORCED in 0.6.
No more changing IIRC.

uhm, I thought the spawntimes were the normal PR ones?
please dont go spread rumors here bout them being short, one of the admins there is already pretty close to a nervous breakdown cause of the inevitable smacktards dropping by^^

but the golden question is

what idiot chose a heavily unbalanced and outdated map to be on a server 24/7

We choose this map, coz we love the urban infantry dogfight. The setting of the map is really cool and want to thank Rhino at this point for making this map, but the city must be a little bit bigger maybe and the cps need other positions. I dont think that the map is outdated, its just unbalanced. And with a little more work on it, or a map with the same setting it would be best urban infantry dogfight map ever.

I like Muttrah. It's a slower map that takes time to establish a foothold on. Once you realize you won't hit the ground and start storming inward, it's a good time. If you're US, you'll get slaughtered for the first 10-20 minutes. But then the battle slowly seems to turn against the MEC.

If you're US, you'll see heavy casualties in the beginning. If you're MEC, you'll see them towards the end.

put the normal map rotation on. 24/7 one map servers are lame. I won't touch it as long as it says 24/7 ANYTHING.

There are so many other good maps. I hate servers with one map or 'only infantry' maps. It's like buying a sports car and driving around the same block over and over again at 25 mph.

12.5 players? that sounds about right. :lol:
well have fun with that then.....normally the kids who play one map over and over are not my type of peeps anyways. I prefer teamwork and no whoring of any kind.

You can bet that a 24/7 muttrah server has little extensive bird whoring. kids flying little birds for no particular reason--even when the Us has a foothold on the shore already. You can dispute what I say, but I bet I'm right. :wink:

Yeah, there are many noobs on our server, but enough teamplayers, so its not a major problem...
