I love PR and all but i need some nice graphics no lagging game play for a bit. So im going to play BF2v for a bit. If anything stupid happens i will come back and let you guys know of the tardness.

PR has better models than vBF2...get 2gigs of RAM and a nice GeForce card and you will stay in love like no tomorrow.

I dont know whats wrong with ur comp but (with the exception of most of the british models) PR has way better graphics than vBF2.

Im back after a hour and a half of play. It wasnt that bad. I played a no car karkland which was ok. The guns are so much easier to control all though the accuracy is worse that PR so it kinda breaks even. I went into a op. clean sweep as well. I kept getting knifed...a lot. i found my self constantly on the look out for rally points and i also kept going into my kit looking for the feild dressing. As for my PC and the graphics issue i have with PR i dont know what to tell you guys. When i play BF2v i play everything on high and AA on and view all the way up or at 90. It plays fine and smooth. But when i play PR with that i cant even walk without getting the matrix frame rate. So i play with everything on medium and AA off. If someone has a solution for me please let me know.

We Already know aabout the tardness, Thats why we play this mod.

i just dont understand why my game looks like semi-**** when i play PR...it sucks.

Dont get me wrong, I love PR, and appreciate the time put into the models and skins, but the british models really dont compare well with the rest of the mod. Especially the sniper and spec ops kits.

Yes I think they are cartoony. Too bright in colour and 'large' in arms if i recall correctly.

Just don't go in to a round and be a fool and brag about how PR owns BF2 (which IMO is true) and tell everyone to play PR instead. Then a few days later complain about how there are too many "vBF2 noobs."

Sorry if that may be a bit harsh but I find it ironic that PR players have a tendency of doing that.

Everyone was a noob once. The tendency you describe (as I've seen) is towards the noobs that come in with a rather demanding attitude asking that we dumb down PR because they cant play it (translation: suck).

If you were around the EA forums when BF2 was released, there were hundreds of angry threads by complaining noobs asking for a lot of stuff. vBF2 was, therefore, dumbed down a lot (no FF claymores/mines as default, just as a start) in order to fit their, apparently, lower IQs and to raise their self-esteem, as well as to encourage their decision of NOT wanting to learn something.

Apparently, they made EA believe (?) that vBF2's learning curve was high. Sorry, but those types of noobs can stay in vBF2. When I came and played PR for the first time (in 0.2 being a PR noob myself) I understood the concept of the mod before downloading it and joining in to play. The same applies to anyone that comes into PRM (or any other mod for that matter).
