Extraction Night.

Alright. We need an extraction night or two for us North Americans or Europeans who like to stay up very late.

First and foremost, a server is needed. No wimpy 10 second respawn server or anything like that, but a real server that uses the default rules and settings, but kicks people not in a squad. It must also be in N. America. If you have a good server thats in N. America that you think can handle 50-64 players, let us know. It's a good way for empty servers to become populated.

A time. I propose 8 pm EST on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Anyways, who else is with me?

Anyone who has a good server in N. America and is willing to run extraction only for 2 nights a week (8 pm EST on Tuesdays and Thursdays) message me.

So, who likes the idea? Who would like to join in?

I was thinking to organize it a bit better, with a pre ordained commander and squads. Maybe even teamspeak later on. But for now, just want the server and the players willing.

Just to tell you, Sunday and Thursdays are password nights on the TG server... So, Thursdays may be a problem for an extraction only server, as a many clans and regulars play on password nights...

VOIP top quality
but can only hold 32 players max
its on xtract 24/7
with battlerecorder on all the time

Also, I think TG is going downhill a bit. Too many noobs with passwords got a hold of it.

I think I was on your server before, I liked it but it lacked players. You willing to hold extract night 8 pm EST on Tuesdays and Thursdays?

Who is in?

Because extract is so much fun and gets so little attention.

Sorry, I run with sig's off as they slow down the forums and frankly some them hurt my eye's/brain -

Really password night? I didnt know that. Only certain people are allowed or can you like gain access to the password by asking or being a good player or w/e.

Check the TG website forums, you'll have to sign up to download the note pad file with the password

Only hardcore don0t give out the passwords to "there friends".

I really like the idea of getting predetremined roles/squad
it could be like a mini tournament
we have a ventrilo sever that we could use for these nights if VOIP is not enough

Hey Greasy, played on your server the other night (Pvt Schultz[22ndMEU] or [SRR]James2785, I can't remember which profile I was using) and had a blast. Good server. I was the marksman that kept ripping people apart

I can set the FCW server to run Xtract only if there is an interest. 64 slots, PROS settings, VoIP enabled and located in California, USA. I ping about 45 to 50 to it and I'm in Minnesota. Haven't noticed a spot of lag on it...

Its not set to run ONLY xtract right now - its running most of the maps in rotation with map voting enabled. Like I said, if there is interest, I'll put it on xtract only.

Well, if you can get one populated extract server, sans non-teamplaying noobs. I AM SO IN! I really hope this happens as I think a cooperative extraction game can not be beat!
