Planes' rudder lock

Post by Kruder »

After landing in some situations, planes rudder tend to lock.As a result you cant steer the plane thus cant take off. This is not in anyway related to plane damage(for example plane smoking or hitting the ground hard) or plane itself(happened with su,mig,a-10 so far).It happened in all of the maps with planes in them.
This mostly happens while trying to neutral the gas, since i am flying with a joy, finding neutral with stick's throttle is sometimes hard and this bug occurs especially when i set throttle back and forth while steering the rudder.

i was able to take off twice -after bug occured- ,and rudders went back to normal.

I didn't try exiting&reentering the plane yet but next time i will and post here the results if u guys interested...

I second this. I've had this same problem, almost every time I land, actually. I mostly play Al Basrah, and I've had to abandon A-10's after landing for repairs.

However, this bug sometimes proves to actually be a feature, because some noobs end up unable to resist trying to get it off the ground, and they eventually get frustrated that they can't turn it around, lose control of themselves, gun the throttle, and plow into something in a blaze of hilarious rage.

Great work on the mod. I almost hate reporting a bug.

Never had this problem. The us fighter on mullet cant go backwards though...

Kruder>>> You can set a bigger "deadzone" for the trottle in control panel/game controllers or in the software for your stick. Makes it easier to stand still.
