"How exactly could these be used to attack China?" <--
Yah? You were asking how conscripted homeguards could be used to attack China.
You wouldn't need to know how conscripted homeguards could be used to attack China if there wasn't already a plan in action to attack them with other troops.

It still blows me away how you could completely miss the subject of this topic.
I read the first page.
It's where you suggested the European Rapid Reaction Force and the same page were it was shot down.
Then it morphed into the much funnier topic of Norway vs Sweden ;)

Not quite sure if you have figured this out yet, but this is a game. Usa is not currently at war with China. If a war erupted between Usa and China, would it be plausible that Sweden would join the war.

No, that's where you completely missed the point. It turned into a discussion on whether Sweden was a realistic faction to add to the game. As you obviously failed to read, I mentioned that Norway was used as an example.

I think if any new European force is added, it should be the French Foreign Legion. They fight special operation missions all over the world. French is already a language in the game (I use it in my mini-mod). We already have the FAMAS. The EU skins could be used. New vehicles wouldn't probably have to be made, because the legion is mostly infantry based.

"No our armed forces can't be deployed to a combat zone....they might get killed!" - that's a joke! I imagine that whole battle group has a similar agreement.
That is not limited to only Italians. Many countries have or have had limited RoE in international missions, namely to limit them to peacekeeping missions instead of peace enforcement. In Afghanistan there are two different operations, ISAF peacekeeping operation and the NATO-led war against Taliban. Germany for instance has refused to participate in the latter, but is active in the former.

EU Battle Groups operate on the other hand operate with common RoE and under a single command as cohesive units.

If any of you want to keep up with country bashing, take it elsewhere. It does not belong here.

Please no, as a french I prefer anything but that.
Those guys are some crazy *** soldiers, killing machines with no brains.
Anyone in the world can enter the French Legion, the fact is any guys who got a search warrant can just enter the Legion and come out as a new man.
So please, the Legion is the only special army ops corps with expandable members. And I don't think it would be "sexy" to implement the Legion within PR.
But yes, indeed it would be realistic.
But please don't.

No Sweden couldn't join the war and neither could Norway as neither country has anyway to actually attack anyone other than Finland and maybe Russia. In fact most of the EU is pretty limited in what it can really do offensively.
There's a reason why the US has so many aircraft carriers, bases around the world, and bombers that can fly for 1000s of miles.

You'd have to wait till China attacked you before you could do anything.

Yes, it has been suggested before, and it is not going to happen for a long time, if ever. More likely the latter. You'll have you get your European equipment fix with OPK or Silent Heroes; both have very nice models and maps. :)
