NikovK - Hills of Hamgyong...spawn problem for Chinese
Hey NikovK...(Hills of Hamyong - edit
) is not good for the chinese...I used to think so until I watched the brits bomb out all of the spawn points. Ultra lame...seriously, the Chinese owned ALL of the CPS except the brits no-cap....and yet we had not one standard spawn?? Some people have picked up on this and are abusing it. We had to suicide everyone to try and get he map to change with still 400+ pts on other side I believe. Why are the spawn points not hard spawns? Dont think I'm complaining, mearly raising a redflag, I guess I could be wrong on this as I'm ignorant to your job. Otherwise the map is awesome and I rarely see this happen, thats the only reason I'm addressing it.

Haaa, so i shoudl have posted my simple explanation of the 3 maps, AL Basara, Helmand and Hilss of Hamyong! DAMN YOU ALL.............mainyl DuckNUNT!
O well, and yes i do understand what you are saying. I know for sure though, on the TG server, admins and TG players will kick and possibly ban players, or squad leaders for using this "blow up enemy rally points at main base" tactic!

It is a lot harder for the Chinese now. I can't recall seeing the Chinese win of late. I think now the front 3 are not recappable, the tickets should be evened off. Even with the Chinese holding the front 3 for most of the game, they will still usually lose on tickets.
With regards to the spawn points, this is why squad leaders need to put rally points down. If at the start of the round SLs immediately put rally points in decent positions (far north and south usually) then it will be a huge help.
Personally I love this map, but then I am becoming a rather fine AT Whore.

Why would they do that? It are Rallypoints, and they are able to be blown up.. I think its a good thing to do.. Look at the advantage the Chinese have when the map just starts.. They got the high ground, and if there is even a little bit of communication not a single british troop will come through.Top _Cat the great wrote:

It is after all a mod about teamwork, and to kick or ban people for destroying destroyable objects is lame in my opinion.
When the Chinese bunker and Magazine RP are blown they did something wrong, not the british..

seriously, china may need that last bunker cp to be an uncap. but that'll only lead to a lock down ontop with those only two exits and 30 man focus fire. they do need some tweaks maybe

yet if your team has a weak link all along the front line you can kiss good by to every spawn point.

I think one of the first three flags need to be scrapped, and the magazine too. This will make room for RPs. Currently you know beforehand where the enemy will put them. You are in fact fighting over these RP positions, and not over the flag. Off course the Chinese spawn should be invulnerable or should respawn quick or have a "flag spawn". I beg to differ that the Chinese can currently keep a decent uk team from capping any flags. If the Chinese defend all flags then the uk can attack 3 to 1 in numbers on any flag. If the Chinese aren't spread out, you can take the weak flag.

If this is the round I was thinking of, I was in it. That was just terrible. Even when we did get our spawn point back we had to scramble up the stairs staring into all 32 of the Brit's. It was hopeless, and a random grenade took out the rally point again. If you do add a Hard Spawn point to the Bunker, put it in a position that's more escapable please.

Sorry for starting the trend. As far as I know me and my clan mate were the first to do that. We would sneak through the lines and destroy every single spawn point. Starting with bunker then the lower one and then going for the outer ones. I wasn't unusual that we would destroy ALL spawnpoints in 1 assault.

Seriosly, PLA needs a fixed spawn point at Bunker...it will make things more interesting, as then GB could win without Bunker, possibly leaving at least some PLAs facing the surrender ALIVE...
