I think its definitely the jumping hieght that causes the problem. I do it from time to time and it works....but I think running in ZigZags/proning works way better. I think its pretty easy to kill someone running around though...recoil isn't that bad if the tango isn't to far away. WHat bothers me is shotting at them only to see them prone instantly and fire a lazer accurate shot back at me!

[off topic]When I first started playing PR that frustrated me A LOT, but that's before I played around with my mouse sensitivity. I use a Logitech G5 and normally have it set to the middle DPI setting for everything and never found a use for turning it down or up, but when I did in PR I noticed I could get accurate head shots off very easily. Try playing about with your mouse settings and lowering the sensitivity so its slower/smoother to aim etc.[/off topic]VipersGhost wrote:WHat bothers me is shotting at them only to see them prone instantly and fire a lazer accurate shot back at me!

Hey thanks man! I'm on an older MS Intellipoint 3 or something...not many settings for sensitivity besides the in-game ones. I gonna go get a G5 here, I've heard some great things and good advice from you about them. There was a time when bunnyhoppers got my blood boiling. Who am I kidding? It still does, to the point that I disregard all other dangers and just gun after the bunny.
Then a loud "HUUUUSH! I'm hunti'n wabbits" on ventrilo. What can I say? Bunnies are no longer fluffy.

I think it 's pretty rare and usually confined to the newer converts from vBF.
As usual .,,, LMFAO at claudius's comments and El Vikingo's video was a true masterpiece.

And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

I admit to bunny hopping - when I have no idea where I am getting shot from I'll do anything do avoid dying!
Also Dolphine diving could probably be fixed by increasing the time of the prone animation (not sure if its hard coded or not)
and for bunnyhopping - suppressing the amount of jumps you can do in a row- so you can't keep whacking the space bar (they did this in CoD and it worked very well).

And then we could do the now normal jump through double tap the jump key with much stamina costs.
AMEN! Devs, is it hard coded? Or is it the kind of thing that the map editor determines? Steps that can be walked on, with other ground features that have to be jumped over?
